I like my job, I really do, but sometimes it all went wrong. As like yesterday.
I'm working as chief cashier in a local supermarket and it's fine job for me. I like to be with people and I like to talk and if you believe it or not it's a very versatile job to do. I've to look after a few of my colleagues, bother with peoples problems (From: "Where can I find the soap" to "Glad to talk to someone. Something terrible happen to me..." everythings there.) and have to solve all the small tasks a normal day of work can come up with.
Okay, sometimes it's not so easy. Most of our customers a quite nice but there a a few jerks anyway. If learned to deal with them...
But yesterday was a very stressful day. My check-out was broken. The conveyor (?) (I think assembly line doesn't fit here...) doesn't work and more in the hole market the EC-terminals shut done. Nobody was able to pay with his card.
Normally every fifth person on average does this. So that was a big problem. I ended up with trying to bring the people to laugh about the hole thing.
Fortunatly most of them responded to me.
